Robert Wood, professor of philosophy at the University of Dallas, delivers a talk about the work of modern ordinary language philosopher John Searle titled “Searle on Awareness and the Brain: Sic et Non.” The program is sponsored by the Fitzgibbons Lecture Series.
Wood is a past president of the American Catholic Philosophy Association and the author of dozens of scholarly articles and three books, including Placing Aesthetics: Studies in the Philosophic Tradition (Ohio University, 2000).
