Walang Hiya: A Celebration of Filipino and Asian American Writing
Using narrative as a departure point for personal and political transformation is the theme for this exploration of the new anthology Walang Hiya: Literature Taking Risks Toward Liberatory Practice. Editors Lolan Buhain Sevilla and Roseli Ilano, together with fiction writers Grace Talusan and Ricco Siasoco, adjunct assistant professor of English at Boston College, analyze works of short fiction and poetry from emerging Filipino and Filipino-American writers.
