In the 2008 “super primaries” on February 5, 24 states held either primary elections or caucuses to select presidential candidates. Eight days later, Alan Wolfe, political science professor and director of the Boisi Center for Religion and American Public Life, introduced this panel program by saying, “We had thought that this would be a post-Super Tuesday event in which we would be reflecting on the front runners who had secured the nominations of their respective parties. It turns out to be a little more complicated than that.” Joining Wolfe are political science professors Marc Landy and Kay Schlozman. After presenting opening remarks, the panelists respond to questions and comments from the audience.
