On the day of the death of Terri Schiavo—a Florida woman whose family's contention over life support became a national controversy—a panel examines the end-of-life issues raised by her case from historical, legal, medical, and ethical perspectives. The panelists are Boston College faculty members Lisa Sowle Cahill, Monan Professor of Theology; Gasson Chair James Keenan, SJ; and John Paris, SJ, Walsh Professor of Bioethics; as well as Boston University's Jon Fuller, SJ, an associate professor of medicine.

The panel is moderated by Kenneth Himes, OFM, the chair of Boston College's theology department.
