“Some things are going to have to change as we go forward,” says Duncan Niederauer, chief executive of NYSE Euronext, the holding company formed in 2007 when the New York Stock Exchange and Euronext, the pan-European stock exchange, combined to form the world’s largest and most liquid exchange group. In his talk at the CEO Club, Niederauer describes “a few elements of the new reality” he envisions in the wake of the international financial crisis. He is introduced by John Fish, president and CEO of Suffolk Construction Company.
