Chief Executives’ Club of Boston: Leslie Moonves

Former actor Leslie Moonves came to CBS as the head of its entertainment division in 1995 and is credited with rejuvenating the entertainment giant, where he is now president and chief executive officer. He is a recipient of the International Radio and Television Society Gold Medal Award. “Change is the constant in our world today,” Moonves tells his audience. Using his company's successes and the challenges it has faced, he illustrates his contention that a CEO is a “chief evolution officer.” The Carroll School's executive director of corporate and government affairs, Peter Rollins, welcomes the audience at the beginning of the program and identifies several prominent public figures in the audience. Chad Gifford, a former bank executive, introduces Moonves.
