Beyond Catholic-Jewish Dialogue: A New Paradigm for the 21st Century
Rabbi Daniel L. Lehmann, president of Hebrew College, talks about the progress that has been achieved in Catholic-Jewish relations in the decades following the Holocaust and Vatican II. Dialogue was the model for this sacred work in the latter part of the 20th century, he argues, but the 21st century calls for a new metaphor and a new vision.
Rev. David C. Michael, pastor of St. Joseph Parish in Needham, Massachusetts, and associate director of the Office for Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs for the Archdiocese of Boston, provides the response.
