Daniel Lasker discusses the polemical aspect of the relationship between medieval Judaism and Christianity and examines the methodologies employed to substantiate the respective arguments. Lasker is Norbert Blechner Professor of Jewish Values at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, and is the author of four books and more than 100 other publications in the fields of Jewish philosophy and theology, Jewish-Christian debate, Karaism, the Jewish calendar, and Judaism and modern medicine.

Lasker is introduced by Ruth Langer, theology department, Boston College.
