Manos Teatrales: Cyber-Paleography and a Virtual World of Spanish Golden Age Theater
Professor Margaret Greer of Duke University directs a team that is developing technology to interpret and identify the handwriting of the many anonymously copied works of seventeenth-century theater stored in the Madrid National Library. She has been awarded NEH and ACLS grants to advance the project, which promises to build new links between literary studies and computer science.
