The End of the Point
Set in a summer community on Buzzards Bay, Boston College English professor Elizabeth Graver's new novel, The End of the Point, traces one family's journey through the second half of the 20th century, examining the legacy of family and place and exploring what we are born into, what we pass down, preserve, cast off, or willingly set free. Graver reads from the book and discusses her research on World War II, Scotland, and 1970s counterculture.
David Quigley, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Boston College, introduces Graver.
