Gary D. Forsee is chairman and CEO of the Sprint Corporation and has three decades of experience in the telecommunications industry. He describes “the promise of convergence,” including the potential of collaboration between wireless carriers and cable companies, and the movement toward hybrid devices incorporating Internet and wireless service.
Peter Rollins, executive director of corporate and government affairs for the Carroll School of Management, offers opening remarks. Forsee is introduced by William H. Swanson, chairman and CEO of Raytheon Company and a member of Sprint's board of directors.
