Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close

Jonathan Safran Foer’s first novel, Everything is Illuminated (Houghton Mifflin, 2002), was published when he was 25 and garnered several honors, including the National Jewish Book Award. As part of the Lowell Humanities Series, Foer reads from his new novel, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close (Houghton Mifflin, 2005), about a precocious child whose father has died in the World Trade Center.
