Globalization and Asian-Americans
Professor Evelyn Hu-DeHart is the director of ethnic studies at Brown University. She discusses globalization’s ties to Asia and Asian-Americans—from Christopher Columbus’s belief that he had arrived in Asia in 1492 to the current day business practice of outsourcing jobs to overseas locations.
