As part of the Lowell Humanities Series, former U.S. Poet Laureate Billy Collins reads from his work, including the title poem from his newest collection The Trouble with Poetry (Random House, 2005). His other books include Questions about Angels (William Morrow, 1991), The Art of Drowning (University of Pittsburgh, 1995), and Sailing Alone Around the Room (Random House, 2001).

Collins is introduced by Kimberly Garcia, who teaches in Boston College's English department.
