Ronald D. Sugar is chairman, president, and CEO of Northrop Grumman Corporation. The California-based defense contractor is the recent recipient of a multi-million dollar contract with the Department of Homeland Security and will develop a computer network linking federal and state law enforcement agencies. Sugar foresees a strong future in adapting military technologies for domestic security purposes.
Peter Rollins, executive director of corporate and government affairs, introduces the program. William H. Swanson, chief executive of Raytheon Company, introduces Sugar.
