Chief Executives' Club of Boston

Kenneth D. Lewis is the President and CEO of Bank of America and presided over the bank's merger with FleetBoston. He discusses the challenges faced by the city of Boston and his new role in the city's economy. He comments on the role banks can and should take in revitalizing inner cities—the “urban core” around which the arts, business, and government revolve—with an emphasis on environmentally sustainable development.
Peter Rollins, executive director of corporate and government affairs for the Carroll School of Management, offers a welcome; and Lewis is introduced by Bank of America chairman Chad Gifford.
