“Research on Urban and Rural Schools”
This panel discussion presents a statistical overview of the enrollment, openings and closings, and financial aid policies of Catholic urban and rural schools, and features Sr. Dale McDonald, PBVM, director of public policy and educational research at the National Catholic Educational Association; Mary Gautier, senior research associate at Georgetown's Center for Applied Research in the Apostolate; and Joseph O'Keefe, SJ, dean of the Lynch School of Education. It is part of the 2006 Selected Programs for Improving Catholic Education (SPICE) conference at Boston College, organized by the Lynch School and the National Catholic Educational Association.
