The Church, the Economy, and Social Justice: Reflections on Caritas in Veritate
Panelists discuss Caritas in Veritate, Pope Benedict XVI's third encyclical, characterized by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops as “a call to see the relationship between human and environmental ecologies and to link charity and truth in the pursuit of justice, the common good, and authentic human development.” Speakers are Daniel Finn, professor of theology and the William E. and Virginia Clemens Professor of Economics and the Liberal Arts at St. John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota; Rev. Robert Imbelli, associate professor of theology; and Stephen Pope, professor theology.
