Debate on Iran invasion

On October 2 two representatives of the Fulton Debate Society squared off against a pair of debaters from Great Britain, winners of a competition to represent their country as its international debate team. “Resolved: This house believes that an invasion of Iran would cause more problems than it would solve,” was the topic, with Boston College taking the affirmative position. Each participant presented a “constructive speech,” and was subject to cross-examination by the opposing team. Then each debater spoke in rebuttal. At the conclusion, audience members in Gasson 100 voted to determine the winning team.
