Bands of the Beanpot

On Sunday, February 20 beginning at 2:55 p.m. EST, tune in here for access to an audio webcast of the third annual Bands of the Beanpot concert, live from Sanders Theater at Harvard University, with performances by the Northeastern Concert Band, the Boston College Concert Band, and the Harvard University Wind Ensemble. The concert brings Boston College together with other bands representing universities that compete in the annual Beanpot hockey tournament.

The 65-member Boston College Concert Band, directed by Sebastian Bonaiuto, includes students, faculty, staff, and community members who perform wind and percussion music at annual Christmas, winter, and spring concerts, and at other events.

Sebastian Bonaiuto, director of bands at Boston College, oversees more than 200 student performers in wind ensembles, jazz ensembles, chamber ensembles, athletic ensembles, and classes. Bonaiuto, who also conducts BC bOp!, received his bachelor of music from Boston University, studied music theory at the New England Conservatory of Music, and received an M.B.A. from Boston College.
